Go to C:\Documents and Settings\*Your Name*\My Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Data
There will be a Configuration file called "Worldbuilder.ini".
This contains basic settings. Something like...
[GameOptions]
cloudMap=0
[GroveOptions]
DefaultRatio1=0
DefaultRatio2=0
DefaultRatio3=0
DefaultRatio4=0
DefaultRatio5=0
[OptionsWindow]
Top=207
Left=601
[MainFrame]
Top=-3
Left=-3
AutoSave=1
AutoSaveIntervalSeconds=99999
[MapOpenSavePanel]
UseSystemDir=0
[MainFrame-Summary]
Bars=0
ScreenCX=1024
ScreenCY=768

I am sure that simply changing Autosave=1 to AutoSave=0 would turn of Autosave but I just changed Autosave interval to something ridiculously high so it never interfears in what I am doing...
