This file includes all files of DeeZire's Red Alert 2 and Yuris Revenge INI Editing Guide as served by Allied General on Revora's forums here: http://forums.revora.net/index.php?showtopic=55822
AG himself placed XGamer's Red Alert 2 ART.INI Guide among the other files, downloadable separately at YR Arg: http://yrarg.cncguild.net/index.php?page=tutorials/tutorials

I was going to host The Guide on ModEnc since all mirrors we listed had gone dead, DZ's official download never returned, and the only thing left were forum-hosted mirrors like AG's, which all too often get lost during forum moves or recovery after hacks. Since the software rejects ZIP uploads for security purposes, I had to repackage the whole thing anyway, and chose to include this readme to give credit to AG and to include the warning below; under no circumstances do I claim credit for either of these two great works, and should either XGamer or DeeZire wish for this package to be taken down, I will happily oblige. Explicit thanks also go to Allied General for providing the source of this material, which seems to have vanished on all previous sources.

USERS OF THESE GUIDES, PLEASE REMEMBER: THEY ARE OUTDATED.
One of the main reasons ModEnc even exists is the fact that more and more inaccuracies in the Guide were found, and at the time either of the guides was written, the extensive research of pd, DCoder and VK was still years into the future.
ModEnc provides this package primarily for nostalgic reasons, and secondarily because several of the in-depth logic descriptions they contain do not have an equivalent on ModEnc yet.
In any case where you purely want to inform yourself about specific flags, their workings, and their effects, it is _strongly_ recommended you visit ModEnc instead, as it contains far more current information as well as descriptions of the inner workings of the engine directly from EXE research.

ModEnc can be accessed here: http://modenc.renegadeprojects.com
Mind, particularly, this page: http://modenc.renegadeprojects.com/Mistakes_In_DeeZire%27s_INI_Guide

You are also very much encouraged to do research yourself and to contribute to ModEnc as much as you can.

That all being said, enjoy this collection of the most influential works ever written on RA2/YR modding.
